Winter in on.
December 6, 2017

When the ski centre opens at the end of November and we hit the slopes we are again reminded just why we choose to live here.  Our boys are growing up with the mountains as their playground. They are growing up surrounded by magnificent nature, fresh air and developing a love and trust for the outdoor life. Very unlike my childhood. We did play outdoors when I was little and went mountain hiking on holidays but I have always lived in cities having to endure a long drive to get to raw nature. My children instead have to endure a long drive or flight in order to enjoy cinemas, theatres, international restaurants and all the hustle and bustle of a city life.Â
Â
We choose the mountains as our home, our family base. With an international mummy and lots of travelling I am not worried about them lacking in culture. Languages, culture, seeing the World is all important but learning about and loving nature is everything.

Total luxury living in Norway's most popular ski resort!

This winter I am going to work on my speed so that I can keep up with the boys and not have my five year wait for me at the bottom of the slope!
